The data reported below provides recruitment information for all full and part-time hires
made during the reporting period, along with the recruitment initiatives this organization’s
human resources department conducted during this period.
The purpose of this EEO Public File Report (“Report”) is to comply with Section
73.2080(c)(6) of the FCC’s EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station
Employment Unit comprised of KBZN-FM and KLO-FM, Salt Lake City, Utah, and is required
to be placed in the public inspection files of these stations and posted on their websites.
This Report covers the period from June 1, 2025 through May 31, 2026 (the “Applicable
Period”).
The FCC’s EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information:


1. A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Station (s) comprising the Station
Employment Unit during the Applicable Period.
2. For each such vacancy, the recruitment source(s) utilized to fill the vacancy
(including, if applicable, organizations entitled to notification, which should be
separately identified), identified by name, address, contact person and telephone
number;
3. The recruitment source that referred the hiree for each full-time vacancy during the
Applicable Period.
4. Data reflecting the total number of persons interviewed for full-time vacancies
during the Applicable Period and the total number of interviewees referred by each
recruitment source utilized in connection with such vacancies; and
5. A list and brief description of the initiatives undertaken.
Appendices, which follow, have been designed, in the aggregate, to provide the required
information.
For the purpose of this Report, a vacancy was deemed “filled” not when the offer was
extended but when the hiree accepted the job offer. A person was deemed “interviewed”
whether he or she was interviewed in person, over the telephone or by e-mail.

IV. Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives

1. 1. Large-Scale Community Outreach Events (Salt Lake
City Partnerships)
The Station Employment Unit partnered with Salt Lake City to participate in multiple large-
scale community events attended by thousands of individuals, including:

– Salt Lake City Drone Show – July 5th 2025 and July 24 th 2025
– “Yappy Hour” Events – June 12th, Augus 14th, and October 9th 2025
– Monster “Trunk-or-Treat” Event – October 25 th 2025
At these events, station representatives engaged with the public regarding careers in
broadcasting, discussed opportunities in sales, programming, and promotions, and directed
interested individuals to station employment resources.

2. Regional Event Partnership – Davis County Tourism
– Antelope by Moonlight – July 11 th 2025
The Station Employment Unit participated in the “Antelope by Moonlight” bike event July
11 th 2025, engaging with attendees from across the region and promoting employment
opportunities in broadcasting.
3. Community Engagement Event – Millcreek Commons
– Doxey Derby – March 27 th and 28 th 2026
On March 27 th and 28 th 2026, the Station Employment Unit participated in the “Doxie
Derby” event at Millcreek Commons, engaging attendees and providing information about
careers in broadcasting.
4. Ongoing Recruitment Outreach Through Community
Presence
Through participation in community events, the Station Employment Unit maintained
visibility, fostered relationships, and promoted equal employment opportunities in
broadcasting.
5. Online and On-Air Recruitment Efforts
The Station Employment Unit utilized online job platforms (Indeed.com, KSL.com), station
websites, and on-air announcements to promote employment opportunities and ensure
broad outreach.
